This was just updated but is still lacking the ability to lock two of the three parameters in wheels mode. Also, missing 1/3 stops above ISO 6400.

Ive used this app for 2 years and have had great success using it along side my Rolleiflex TLRs.

Not sure what happened with this version but it never gets past the title screen before it crashes. Hopefully theres a fix soon!

Simple Perfect I dig it Great to have in a pinch or as a backup light meter. Great to be able to see the exposure. A manual exposure adjustment would be a handy addition to this already useful app. UPDATE: thanks for keeping this great app up to date with new phone releases!

A1. Use it all the time

I have been a photographer for over four decades, before cameras had integrated light meters. This app provides little useful feedback in the light levels of ordinary interior lighting in a non-intuitive manner. Deleted.

It works fantastically well for what it costs. Are you going to have the same utility as your 300-600 dollar light meter? No. Did you pay less than a cup of coffee for it? Yes. More often than not it’s pretty close to my physical light meter. Great if you just want to have a double check on your guess. Even for digital shooters, I’d recommend as tool for novices to help learn how to understand the whole aperture / shutter speed relationship.

This used to be my go-to light meter. But with each update it gets worse. Im using it for film so every missed frame is money Im wasting. Get it together, dev. Update: still doesnt work well. Can we get the version from a couple years ago?

Updated Jan 10 5* again Pre update Using the main camera, gives low light error even in bright sun. Using the FaceCall camera, it seems ok, but that makes app essentially useless unless you use LUxI attachment. Useless now. Worked great with 5s, 5c etc.

Soon as I open it, always crashes. Tried to reload it and same thing. Waste of time

The latest revision does not work on my iphone 5s

Latest update has failed me. Crashes on my iPhone 4s upon opening. Was great before (see previous review below) but is now UNUSABLE!! I used this app teaching kids darkroom photography. I was shooting paper negatives; photo paper loaded in old 4x5 film holders, which have an ASA of about 10! Maybe 8! In general I could get a pretty good exposure! Super for those times I forgot my Sekonic $300 meter.

I had this app up until June of last year and it worked fine, I re-downloaded it today and now it crashes as soon as I open it. please fix it, this is so useful!!

Totally useless

Crashes as soon as it opens. Time to delete this and find a more reliable app.

App is now crashing immediately. Very frustrating as I needed it for a shoot and expected it to work as usual.
